Qualys is a cloud-based cybersecurity and compliance solutions provider specializing in vulnerability management, asset management, detection and response, web application scanning, patch management, and policy compliance through its Enterprise TruRisk Platform. Founded in 1999, Qualys launched QualysGuard in 2000 as one of the first vulnerability management products and went public on Nasdaq in 2012. The company serves over 10,000 subscription customers in more than 130 countries worldwide, including 72% of the Forbes Global 50, 55% of the Forbes Global 500, and 33% of the Forbes Global 2000. CEO Sumedh Thakar joined Qualys in 2003 as an engineer and rose through the ranks to become CEO in 2021.
