What gets converted
How the converter treats Markdown constructs and AI artifacts.
AI watermark removal: Invisible characters such as zero-width spaces, byte order marks, soft hyphens, and bidi controls are stripped automatically.
Encoding repair: Garbled sequences like â€", ’, “, and … from broken UTF-8 decoding are restored to em dashes, apostrophes, quotes, and ellipses. Stray  characters from nonbreaking spaces are normalized too.
Headings and emphasis: #, *, _, **, ~~, and == markers are removed for plain text, or converted to proper tags for HTML.
Links and images: Plain text keeps link text and image alt text; HTML output produces real anchors and image tags.
Lists, quotes, tables: Bullets, numbering, blockquote markers, and table pipes are normalized to readable text or semantic HTML.
Privacy and security: Paste-only input (no file uploads). All conversion runs in your browser; text is never uploaded or stored on Huntertech servers. HTML output is sanitized before display.
