About this guide
This guide explains each vendor intelligence surface on Huntertech, from the public catalog at /vendors through per-vendor Operations and Evaluate pages.
URLs follow /vendors/{vendor}/{section}, where {vendor} is the route slug in the catalog (for example zscaler or aws). Compare lives at /vendors/compare and can prefill vendors from a vendor page.
- Signed-out visitors can browse the catalog, company profiles, overview, status, security summaries, and compare without an account.
- Incidents, maintenance, advisories, updates, analytics, and scorecard depend on vendor data availability and your plan.
- Use your watchlist in Account to prioritize vendors on the dashboard; vendor pages always reflect the full catalog entry.
Vendor catalog
The vendor catalog lists every vendor Huntertech tracks with search, filters, and entry points into company and overview pages.
What you can do
- Search by vendor name, domain, or category.
- Open a vendor to start on Overview or Company depending on your goal.
- Jump to Compare with vendors selected from catalog cards or vendor rails.
Related catalog pages
- /vendors/founding-years and /vendors/achievements highlight catalog metadata.
- SEO landing pages such as /vendors/security-vendors group vendors by theme.
Overview
Overview is the signed-in style dashboard for a single vendor: rollups, health signals, and shortcuts into incidents, maintenance, and analytics where available.
Layout
- Desktop: left rail for sections (Operations and Evaluate clusters) with Overview as the default monitor landing.
- Mobile: section tabs mirror the rail for quick jumps between Overview, Status, Incidents, and related surfaces.
- Legacy /overview/{tab} URLs redirect into the unified overview experience.
When to use it
- Land on Overview after picking a vendor from the catalog or your watchlist.
- Scan open incidents, recent maintenance, and headline metrics.
- Drill into Incidents, Analytics, or Scorecard from the rail when you need detail.
Status
Status answers whether a vendor is reporting problems right now, using official status pages and Huntertech incident signals when present.
Public access
- Available without signing in for vendors with a public status or incident surface.
- Useful for quick "is it down?" checks and sharing with stakeholders.
URL
- /vendors/{vendor}/status
Incidents
Incidents lists ongoing and historical service disruptions for the vendor, normalized from vendor status APIs, RSS, and Huntertech ingestion pipelines.
List and detail
- List: /vendors/{vendor}/incidents with filters for state, impact, and time.
- Detail: /vendors/{vendor}/incidents/{id} for timeline, affected components, and vendor updates.
- Share links: /vendors/{vendor}/incidents/share for read-only snapshots.
Archive
- Resolved incidents move into archive views inside the Incidents experience for trend analysis.
Maintenance
Maintenance tracks scheduled and in-progress vendor work that may affect availability, separate from unplanned incidents.
Data and access
- Shown when Huntertech ingests maintenance windows for the vendor.
- May appear under Unlock teasers for signed-out users; sign in to see full history where your plan allows.
URL
- /vendors/{vendor}/maintenance
Advisories
Advisories collects vendor-published security and operational advisories: CVE notices, mandatory upgrades, and service guidance.
How to use it
- Open Advisories from the vendor rail when evaluating patch priority.
- Open an item for full text, affected products, and publication dates.
- Cross-check Security for CVE-oriented feeds when both are available.
Updates
Updates surfaces product release notes, feature launches, and changelog-style entries from vendor feeds Huntertech tracks.
Related surfaces
- Press releases may fold into Updates for some vendors.
- Platform-specific pages (for example Zscaler datacenters) appear as additional routes when configured.
Security
Security focuses on CVEs, bulletins, and security-adjacent vendor publications, complementing Advisories with a feed tuned for security teams.
Access
- Always listed on the vendor rail; depth of data varies by vendor ingestion.
- Pairs with dashboard security feeds for watchlist vendors when signed in.
Analytics
Analytics provides charts and rollups for incident frequency, duration, maintenance volume, and related metrics for a vendor over selectable time windows.
Plans and time range
- Free plans include a limited lookback; Standard, Pro, and Enterprise expand history and breakdowns.
- Clicking chart bars can deep-link into filtered incident lists when supported.
Scorecard overlap
- Scorecard summarizes health grades; Analytics is the exploratory charting view for the same underlying telemetry.
Company
Company is the evaluate-side profile: firmographics, product lines, links, and context before you dive into live operations data.
Typical content
- Display name, domains, categories, and summary copy sourced from Huntertech vendor metadata.
- Products, capabilities, use cases, and dependencies when we have structured catalog data.
- Paths into Overview, Status, and Compare from the vendor rail.
