Resolved an issue where the Netskope Client failed to establish the Prelogon tunnel when the device certificate’s issuer chain contained non-ASCII characters encoded as ISO-8859-1 (for example, German umlauts such as ä and ü) inside an ASN.1 field tagged as UTF8STRING. In affected environments, the Client reported a certificate issuer mismatch on the Organization (O=) field and the Gateway rejected the connection with Device certificate fails for Prelogon. The certificate issuer comparison now correctly handles these mis-encoded values, allowing Prelogon authentication to succeed without requiring users to rebuild their PKI.
