Summary

**Summary:** Mitigating access issues for Workspace Admins with Classroom’s web homepage. **Description:** Our engineering has identified the cause and mitigation work is currently underway. The mitigation rollout is expected to take several hours. We will provide more information by Wednesday, 2026-08-19 8:00 PDT. **Symptoms:** Workspace Admins may experience permission errors when accessing Classroom’s web homepage. Remaining Classroom functionality remains unaffected. The Classroom Mobile App and the Classroom API are unaffected by the issue. **Workaround:** All other pages are unaffected and admins can navigate to other pages using the left hand pane on the interface. Workspace Admins can still create classes without any issue. Workspace Admins can also view the courses that they are in by going to https://classroom.google.com/h/tv
