About this guide
This guide covers Account settings: public profile, billing, notification delivery, Enterprise team roster, invites, and API keys.
- Profile choices affect community visibility and your public member page.
- Billing determines feature gates such as probes, API access, and Enterprise artifacts.
Profile
Profile settings control how you appear on Huntertech: display name, bio, industry, social links, and public page preview.
Public member page
- Preview vanity URL and card layout before publishing changes.
- Community features use profile identity in watch rooms and activity.
Editing flow
- Open Account → Profile.
- Update fields and save; review the public preview panel.
- Adjust visibility choices before participating in community chat.
Billing
Billing shows plan tier, invoices, and payment methods. Upgrades unlock Standard, Pro, Enterprise, and VIP capabilities.
Plan gates (common)
- Free: core vendor pages and limited workspace features.
- Pro+: probe agents, API keys, and advanced monitoring.
- Enterprise: contracts, quarterly PDF reports, and team roster.
Managing subscription
- Open Account → Billing.
- Compare plans on Pricing if you need feature parity details.
- Download invoices for finance review when on paid tiers.
Notification settings
Notification settings control delivery channels and rules: in-app, email, Slack, webhooks, watchlist alerts, digests, and community notifications.
Channels
- Enable or disable each channel independently.
- Connect Slack or webhooks for team routing; test after configuration changes.
Rules and muting
- Watchlist rules determine which vendor events generate alerts.
- Mutes and digests reduce noise during maintenance or off-hours.
Team
Team management covers organization roster and invites on Enterprise so multiple operators share workspace context.
Enterprise requirement
- Team roster is Enterprise-only.
- Use when MSPs or internal ops groups need shared billing and artifacts.
Roster workflow
- Open Account → Team as an org admin.
- Invite members by email and assign roles as offered in product.
- Members sign in with the same org entitlements for Enterprise features.
Invite
Invite lets you share guest passes, gift VIP passes, and track referrals from your account.
Referrals and passes
- Inventory and rewards depend on your plan and active promotions.
- Share links from Account → Invite; avoid posting single-use codes in public channels.
API keys
API keys provide programmatic access to Huntertech vendor infrastructure data with plan rate limits.
Key hygiene
- Store secrets in a vault; rotate keys on schedule or after staff changes.
- Use one key per integration to isolate rotation.
Documentation
- Developer Hub explains auth patterns and MCP alternatives.
- REST reference lists endpoints, schemas, and try-it flows.
